Training Style
No two workouts are alike! I love to work on a case-by case, and day-by-day basis. I believe in challenging your body, and then recovering and rebuilding for optimal strength, endurance, flexibility and stress management. I believe that because each person is unique, with individual challenges and strengths, it is important to adapt my training style to suit those needs.
Philosophy
I believe that exercise and proper nutrition are the solid foundation to a long, healthy life. We live in this body, so I believe you should understand some of what goes on inside of it! I encourage each person to take charge of their own body, and ask questions. I love to explain the “why” as well as the “what” we are doing during exercise.
About me
I am finishing my master’s degree in Human Movement Science at the University of Memphis. As a graduate assistant, I also teach Pilates, jogging and weightlifting at the college level. I love to spend time with my husband, cook, and run long distances when I am not studying.
